Moms Volunteering!

Mom’s club is an international organization that has chapters locally in Fargo-Moorhead and also in West Fargo. This group is to support part-time and full-time stay at home moms and provide them with information about activities and service opportunities that involve children.

Part of the chapter’s charter is that they will do volunteer work in their community.  This group has enjoyed volunteering at the Ronald McDonald houses, because it allows them to cook a meal for the families, but have their children with them as they volunteer. We ask that one adult watch the children while they are playing in the playroom, and the other moms can prepare the meal for our families.

Inspired. Humbled. Impressed. These are a just a few of the words that immediately come to mind after a wonderful weekend at the RMH Ride.

Over 900 bikes lined up at the New York Mills VFW on Saturday afternoon all in support of the Fargo Ronald McDonald House. This annual event is one of my favorites! A volunteer committee works year round to make sure this event is a success and all in the name of the Ronald McDonald House.

Staff Share A Meal

Once a month, the staff of the Ronald McDonald House learns something new……in the kitchen!

For April, we learned to make an easy casserole, and by working together we were able to bring dinner to both the North and the South house families, as well as take dinner home!

Here’s the recipe for our hotdish! Cook everything and put in layers in the pan.
