We want to introduce you to another amazing RMHC volunteer! This is Lori Tiongson.

Sig & Judy at a Volunteer Appreciation event
Judy Greene has been a weekly volunteer as a Heartwarmer here at the South Ronald McDonald House for the last 13 years. We asked her a few questions about her volunteer experience with RMHC.
What got you started volunteering here?
My friend Sig was going to volunteer here and I said, “I will too!” We started together, and I remember mostly how much sawdust there was! The house was in the final stages of remodeling in the Summer of 2005 and we were getting the kitchen ready for the families. Continue reading
We want you to meet one of our board members and learn a little more about her! Here is Monica! Continue reading
Every Wednesday we list our #WishlistWednesday items on social media. Our Wishlist includes things that we are in need of that week at our RMHC for our families. Continue reading
The Ronald McDonald House of Fargo has an outstanding group of people who make up our Board. At the office, we see how they care deeply for the mission of RMHC, put forth hard work to keep families close and joyfully support this community. We were curious as to what drives these passionate individuals to serve on our Board so we simply asked them. Their answers are pretty inspiring. Today we’ll share about Mary Ellen and how she is #forRMHC. Continue reading
We are loving this beautiful weather and hoping Mother Nature graciously gave us the last snowfall on April 26th – we’re ready to embrace springtime! In our anxious anticipation, we created a list and have started completing several spring cleaning tasks. Continue reading
This is me. My job is to work with volunteers at RMHC. Actually my title is Community Outreach Coordinator, but that is really long. So let’s talk about what I do. I work with other people from the community (see how I tied that in there?) who want to help the families that stay at the Ronald McDonald house.
Want to know what THEY do? I would love to tell you. April is the month of Volunteer Appreciation. We appreciate (love) our volunteers because they do ALL these things….#volunteerRMHC Continue reading
We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: our Board rocks! Today we’ll share about Shauna Wimer and how she is #forRMHC. Continue reading
In my job working with our volunteers, I get to meet a lot of people. They come in, they tell me about their companies, or their stories of what connects them to the Ronald McDonald house. Some find us on the website, some find us through Facebook…..different paths to get to our door. Continue reading
At the Ronald McDonald House in Fargo we are, at times, speechless in attempting to express our gratitude for the generous volunteers that have committed with us in keeping families close. Each and every day, there is an individual or group of volunteers that cross our threshold to help serve families who have critically-ill children. Truly, we could not do the work we do without our volunteers. What drives such considerate individuals? We asked them and we are wholly humbled by their answers bursting with care, compassion and determination. Today we’ll share about Houston Engineering and how they are #forRMHC. Continue reading
