Donation Refund Policy

Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Red River Valley (RMHC-RRV) considers all gifts nonrefundable. Refund requests are only granted in exceptional circumstances and must be received in writing within 90 days of the donation date. Refunds are returned using the original method of payment. Refund will be executed within 30 days from receipt of the request. RMHC-RRV may ask for proof of identity before issuing a refund. Donor is responsible for any and all tax considerations that may arise if a donation is refunded.

Some circumstances in which refunds might be granted include:

The donation was made in error, had an incorrect amount, or the selected charity was not that intended by the donor
The donation was not authorized by the donor
The donor’s circumstances have changed materially, for instance if the donation was made from the proceeds of a sale that was later canceled or refunded.
